AN URGENT
APPEAL FOR FUNDS FROM IMANA
The Islamic Medical Association of North
America (IMANA), a not-for-profit, non-political, medical organization requests
Muslims to give their sadaqa and zakat donation to IMANA to help us continue
providing humanitarian and medical relief to Muslims worldwide suffering from
hunger and lack of health care as result of natural disasters and aftermath of
war and displacement.
In last 2 years IMANA has spent
$136,000 for relief efforts in Muslim countries. In addition, IMANA gave $98,
000 in zakat to needy Muslims. IMANA also gave over $100 , 000 to poor medical Muslim
students overseas to support their education. Since the Afghan war started IMANA
has spent $32,000 on sending medicines, medical supplies and blankets worth
$850,000 donated by church organization to refugee camps in Pakistan.
IMANA'S relief work is supervised
by a committee headed by a very respected Muslim physician, Dr. Ayman Rayes.
